Took my Godson to see the latest Night at the Museum flick yesterday.

I think I laughed more than he did. In fact, I'm sure he and a few others were laughing at me laughing!

I took my (then) 83 year old grandma to see Home Alone 2 in the theaters and I think she laughed the entire time without pause.  It was infectious and soon I and everyone sitting near us were laughing hysterically for no reason.

Stupid movies are stupid, but when they hit it just right, they are the most fun!  ;D

not a "new" movie per se, but did come out this year, and i just watched this weekend, &  [thumbsup]  [thumbsup]

woulda gotten a 3rd thumbs up, but no Sofia in a bikini scenes...

my wife & I really enjoyed it, well done all the way around

Just saw The Imitation Game.

Really engaging flick, liked it a lot.
I never had to consciously re-suspend reality to get back into the movie.

It took some flack for lack of historical accuracy...meh.
If there's a documentary on it, I'll watch it now that I know more about the story.
