Bmw rear turn signals are a go. Minor trimming of tabs but should mount up easily and really update style.

Crap, I was pretty certain the gsxr mirrors were the right size through a bunch of crossmreferncing. Nope. They are 45mm mounts. The ST2 uses 60mm mount.
So if you have any other duciati these will work and if the mount angle is right, I, m going to go look at VFR mirrors next.

Can nothing go right on this thing. Have a cannot get the damn 41mm nut off the swingarm I bought. Cant remove the stripped screw are the bar end. Cant cant cant.

Right bar ordered. Steel sockets ordered. Gonna beat this crap

can't get the sprocket carrier nut off?  had that myself.  i drilled a series of holes through more than one and split it with a cold chisel.

Awesome, found shop that got the nut off! New right handlebar on the way. Back on track.

So little bit more to go. Swingarm is on, most of the interior stuff is done. Still need to finish up the front wiring. Airbox is a wierd thing. The stock st2 box is really two small boxes. So different than the new monster box which has the single large chamber.  Everyone says the top was the limiting factor and to open it up, but I want all weather touring, plus I believe that creating airflow parallel to airfilter at higher speeds cant be good.... so out comes dremel, opened up center and effectively doubled the airbox size. Now to see if theory is right.  Gel cell battery didnt have stock mounting clip holder ridge so have to fab up a new clip mount. Ooo and mts1200 exhaust bits here. Brand new stuff! Anyone need a mts1200 oem computer, cat and front header?

I saw something similar in my brother's 2001 M900Sie airbox. It was like there was a dividing wall/floor running horizontal making a "two storey" airbox. It had a 2-3 inch hole connecting the airflow of the upper and lower chamber. Was it like that?

I thought of doing the same, uniting the whole volume.

No its a vertical split below the airfilter. A tiny little drain hole was the only opening between the two sides.

Plus have the dp chip in so need the extra air volume

Also, anyone have spare rubber plug, clutch side, that go into the s2r swingarm where the shock mount bolt goes. Mine only came with the chainside one.
