LMT

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Off to see the other sister tomorrow.

She does not have a coffee maker either. What is up with my sisters? We must all be adopted.

We were! Well, 2 of us were and the other 2 aged out of foster care.

Time to hit the pillow.

GK

So were you one of the adopted or one who aged out of foster care?

I ask as I'm trying to see if there's a link to the no like coffee syndrome you've been dealing with!

It's a somewhat tiny survey sample, but hey let's run with it! Lol!

Afternoon by the way!

And Happy Birthday LMT! Wasn't sure if I'd added my birthday greeting yet!

GLW is home after completing the 60 km walk.

Inspirational stuff. As I was waiting for her at the 30km line yesterday, there were a number of cancer sufferers who had been pushed in a wheelchair the whole way. Amazing.

Pretty sure the 931 people raised approx 2.7 million! Not everyone who made the 30km Mark yesterday came today. For a number of walkers, it was simply too much.

Anyway, thinking about those people being pushed in the wheelchair reminds me of that bloke (pretty sure he was a Yank) a while back who did a triathlon with his disabled son. It might have even been the Hawaiian Iron Man.

Anyone remember that?

Did a quick google search. Here it is.

WARNING, the sound track is a Christian song, so if you're going to take offence to that, turn the volume down.

Truly inspirational devotion by the boy's dad, not to mention strength and iron will, to accomplish that amazing feat!

Evening.

Cricket today.  Shorty Junior finished up the season with a 5/19 (and a bonus 27 runs not out with the bat).  A tight and exciting win.

Also means he finished up as the League's Leading Wicket Taker for the year.  Three ahead of his nearest rival (who took a spectacular 6/0 today  [clap]).

Today's win was against his old club too.  So that was  :-*

I just had another read of Ungerdunga's Autotune thread. Very entertaining and informative. Having brunch, slept in a little. ;D
