very funny....told the hubby our 20month old son needs one  he loves sitting on mommys S4R, and Daddy wants a Tri-Colour only fair that junior should have one too 

oh yeah definately going on the birthday/christmas list for grandma and grandpa! maybe they will by one for my daughter too! ha ha awesome!

That's fantastic!!! It was Sears in UTC, right? I sent a cell phone pic to my sister of the same bike telling her that I'm getting if for my nephew when he turns 3  She wasn't amused...

They're good value. You can actually get additional kits for them too - 'My First Tail Chop', 'My First Pipe Core' etc.

As mentioned above earlier (and now official), a  proposal is being floated forward to DNA for approval for 2009 to have two classes of these at the major Ducati events:  children's class (ie: customized by them) and a grownup's class (for us who can't leave well enough alone).  Hopefully we will get some response in the next few months as I think this would be fun to do and get more enthusiasts and families involved.

electric.  can set speed with switch...slow is about 2 mph.  fast is 4 something (not quite a jog but a very quick walk...almost easier to jog slow).

throttle is a twist grip but it's an on/off.

training wheels come with it and are easily removed.

those chrome sportclassic barends on my bike in that pic are in my basement, so they may need to go on the baby monster.
