Barnee
super duke

We are waiting. Anybody else coming?
Tommy?  Bonnie?

so sorry guys, left CDC a voicemail this am.  Our babysitter fell through, kids come first.  Would have been there, but I loaned out my Moto straps so we couldn't tie them down in the basement.  They've already proven they could get out of duct tape. Damn kids.  Hope everyone had a blast.

Charles, THANK YOU for leading a great ride today!!!

Excellent pace, nice road selection...
Sorry I couldn't stay for lunch...
but Duke is happily peeing in the backyard, and I've got to get ready for work.

ENJOY THE BBQ!!!

I was afraid I was slowing you down. There was no way my Monster was going to put a gap on the SBK.   ;D

Sorry you missed lunch.  I take it you got home and to work on time though.

After lunch Jason led us to his house to see the airplane.  It is a beautiful machine.  But I could never ride in one as I would be scared sh1tless.  I can only imagine what a great experience it would be to pilot a plane like that.

The ride is ten times better in the fall when it is cooler.  We'll have to do it again.

On the way home, the heat was brutal and we got lost.  I kept on reading the directions Jason gave us and I was looking for 917 when I should have been looking for 171.  Anyway we found our way eventually with Jim's GPS.  Jim has pictures I hope.

My bad Tommi.  The phone was in the tank bag and I didn't think to check it knowing that you know my number.  Jason kept calling my number too b/c RichD's phone bat went dead so he couldn't reach RichD too.  (Say that seven times fast).

But now I have 3 more post to go.   ;D

The "Time Machine" worked well... I got home at 1:22! Which I think was about 50 minutes+/- travel.

I can't believe you're not a hero yet

Nice roads and good company today, for sure!  But the heat was brutal.  Definitely fun on 1188 and 1189 (and I few others I don't recall).  I'm definitely up for a repeat of this run when it's at least 15-20 degrees cooler.  I saw 105 degrees on a bank sign in one of those towns we scooted through.  :-X

Thanks for leading, Charles.  Thanks for suggesting this last minute ride, Tommy - even if you guys couldn't make it.  Next time!

Ambition is a poor excuse for not having sense enough to be lazy.
