That's a great tradition that was mentioned. Those things are so important.

That was a real tear jerker, especially considering the recent losses many of us have endured.   I attended a friend's military funeral awhile back.  There was a color guard from the local American Legion.  The guys were really old, probably not WWII age but close.  Their about face was not very precise and even a bit wobbly but they made up for it with an undefinable Greatest Generation presence.

One of the very old guys played  taps and did an incredible job.  I kept looking for the amp and speakers, but it was just him and his horn.  The music just rolled out clearly and cleanly in the morning air.  If there is such a thing as a good funeral, this was it.
