Well I dropped my bike again last week! It was right after the rain and cager in front of me slammed on the brakes and tried to turn left on a one way street  [bang] My bike skid and down I go..
Gladly I'm fine and survived well just a couple of bruises on my back but my bike is damaged pretty bad and the Insurance people are mostly totaling it... still waiting to hear on the final word.
I put some money into it over time and really really don want to let it go.. can you guys give me an estimate of how much I should be looking at to bring it back to shape or even running condition.. cheaper alternatives would be really appreciated.

Little more details on the bike:

Its 02 Ductai Monster Dark (Yea i painted it yellow this season ;D) with around 9500miles.. so guess the blue book value comes to around $3800

If they want to total it, let it go.  One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was going out of my way to avoid totaling a 1984 Lotus Turbo Esprit.

Ouchos. Sorry to hear that, it really sucks, is the car in front of you involved at all or is this all on your insurance?

How's the frame? I'd guess its a total based on the sheer number of parts destroyed, but most of those look like they can be replaced with nice aftermarket bits. The fact that the gauge pod is destroyed is maybe bad- isn't all the immobilizer crap tied into that? Someone with more experience than me can answer better, but from my experience, even if they total it you should pay the salvage cost and part it out. I wish I did that on mine when it was totaled, but I didn't know where to keep it. Kick myself whenever I think about it. I suppose that depends on the salvage cost, but for me I totally could have doubled what I got for it in salvage.

It is sad to see your duc in that condition!  Glad you made it out better than the bike!

The car in front wasn't involved. If that then I guess the insurance might have been better but me not so good. I its  for the best that the car was not involved.

The Frame is fine but from what I can tell. The Immobilizer part and the whole speedometer set is gone, fork is damaged, wheel is not straight(not sure how much actual damage is to the wheel thou), tank dent, head light.

Other parts with smaller damages I guess are accelerator cable, front brake cable, gear lever, exhaust bent, front indicators, clutch wire, bar end mirrors and me  :-\

Sorry to hear.  Insurance wise the bike is a total.  Fixable? Yes, do consider what Hedgehog advised though, particularly since you will need to deal with the immobilizer issue.  Definitely make sure the frame is straight.  Do keep in mind salvage title means reduced value.

bigtime

Time for a new bike, I'd let them total it.  It doesn't look like you have that much on the bike worth recovering.  The few trinkets on the bike (Riz bars, sliders, exhaust) don't add up to much money and are too wiped anyways.  If you still think it's a great project bike, try to figure out how to buy it back after you get the check.  As Howie says, a salvage title reduces value but there isn't much value in the bike at this point anyways.
