I have to say I'm surprised nobody had anything to say about the Fire. I mean we are talking about Fire after all.

OK, I did see some pics of the mountains burning, but, what can I say, I am at least 6 hours of a direct flight to San Francisco and about 10 to Seattle . . .it is a shame that so much nature and lives, yes lives of animals trapped within the fire are lost, some human lost I've read somewhere . . .

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

I have an interest in this one:

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Anyone still in touch with Mother or Mrs. Mother?

Here it is derbyed from earlier.

We have all these fires this summer. Joy and I were nearly caught up in one this morning...In the Car wash of all places.   ???
We were going through the Drive through and had just entered the "tunnel." Meanwhile over to the right as we looked through the soaped up window, the both of us noticed flames coming through an open doorway that leads to a mechanical room.

Wasn't sure what it was at first, but then it appeared to be a class B fire and there was a small 2 gal plastic gas can being licked upon by the flames. I said sheesh that think is going to melt and rupture the gas tank and then there is going to be a real big fire!
We continued through the carwash and then left the scene as quickly as possible.     [wasn't]

No, we didn't do that  Joy Opened the door and yelled Fire several times. The workers ran over with extinguishers and put it out.

to anyone that is danger from fire...

my posting is not meant to demean your situation.

In NH we typically don't have to worry about forest fires.

It does, however, get cold.

I will refrain from making off color comments about summer frostbite. ;)

Heading North for a wedding into fire country.

Epic rain is predicted for the weekend, of course.

I'm hoping the truck makes it okay.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
