Pinky extension for my 42

i handled a 43 in a shop -- the grip feels very thin walled.  How much bigger is the 43 than the 42?

I'm looking to upgrade to 9mm now that they are getting as small as 380s.  I've had a P3AT for ever and have been looking at a PF9.  It is pretty damn thin.  I haven't had any issues with KT guns.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

The 43 is slightly bigger than the 42. Break contact guns, not good for range work. I've gone to carrying the 42, it's so easy.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I've got a 500 with pistol grip and swappable to shoulder grip.  Can't say anything bad.  It does exactly what it should.  Holds 5-7 rounds depending on shell length.  If you can't dispatch a threat with that many shotgun rounds I would suggest running.

Probably the same set I got.  also came with both 28" and 18 1/2" barrels.  A lot for not much $$$.

Not that I ever swap the stocks, but I do like the concept of the "flex" system.

i've carried the P3aT for years and have never been in love with the 380 round.  Even with the CorBon loads, I want a little more bite on the receiving end.

.380 never did anything for me.  Have to wait and see if Colion Noir does a piece on who carries them.

I like .45

i prefer my 14" duty barrel.

Always a drawback.

I don't hang out in Bodega Bay much, so I don't think I have a need to kill that many birds that quickly. ;)

Doing some more research.   Right now I can't swing the coin for a 500.  Found a couple 88s for under 150.  Academy sports has NIB for like 165.  Good thing is all parts from 500s fit the 88.  Cheaper made parts are the trigger group is not metal and the forgrip.  Everyone says that's the failed point but seems to be hearsay.  Haven't found an actual encounter of failer.

I'd wait if I were you.  One of the big box stores is going to have a sale on the 500 or the 870 sooner or later.  I know I recommended the 500 but the 870 is just as good.

I've owned my 870 since the late 80s.

My first 1911

Nice.  I love the 1911.  Often thought about getting a really nice one, but I rarely shoot my Kimber as it is...    :-\
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I went with the SA Mil spec as an entry level 1911.

I was considering the Taurus PT but decided to go with the tried and true.
