Just rewatched some of the race and saw this: Early on with 22 laps to go (at 22:30 on the motogp video), Iannone made the exact same move on Marquez and Rossi as he did at the end of the race ("The Pass").  Literally, the same move in the same corner: Rossi passed Marquez and then Iannone slipped in as the two others left an opening.  Except in this case he couldn't quite get past Rossi. 

Very interesting to actually see a learning moment in real time.  He found a move and kept it in his pocket and waited for the situation to present itself.

Maybe we should give Rossi 20 points.

Nah, I want them to go into Valencia tied in points and then for everyone to crash on the last lap and then for Rossi and Lorenzo to foot race to the finish just like in Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby.  It seems the only fitting finish to this silly season.

Peace you guys! I still say racing is racing and you earn your stripes. And I hope Rossi earns the title this year.  My earlier post was just another way of looking at the race the way a lot of Europeans do. I can see it both ways and can understand how the Italians and the rabid Rossi fans feel.

Those Italians are a bunch of idiots. Rossi is not Iannone's teammate and even if he was, there would need to be an established team order thing for him to do that. It's a BS reaction coming from the Rossi fanboys.

So much impassioned controversy!  Good thing these races are a week apart instead of the usual two weeks.  Otherwise, the speculation would undo us.

If You'reghey's perfection was any more perfect...his helmet would no longer fit.

All Rossi has to do is spit on the track in front of him and he'll be forced to slow down.

I'd like to see a tie, then go here for 6 laps to crown the champ.
