NEED SOME HELP DECIDING

Guys/Gals, need help deciding which set should grace my AV room since my 32" LED has given up the ghost:

HDMI are both enough: PC to stream, cable box and DVD player plus HT receiver will have HDMI thru, so if it had 2 HDMI would be OK

Have seen side by side sets with 60Hz and 120Hz and really, have not been able to tell difference

Something similar here[spec wise] would be upwards of $750.00 closer or upwards of $1000.00

Thanks, shipping/taxes have been calculated to under $100.00

If you can briefly state why you make your recommendation it will be highly appreciate it.

I can't advise on the sets themselves, but I will tell you that smart tv's aren't very. Typically the built in browser is crude at best and can't handle direct streaming froma website.

Make sure there's an app available for the content you want to stream or be prepared to hook a laptop through hdmi.

I would want to see how they process 1080p or 720p. The 4k tvs i have looked at look great with the demo reel....
Put an average signal through it and they looked bad.
How much 4k content do you have?

How much 4k content do you have?
My Panasonic 4K looks great with 720 and 1080...either wireless or HDMI...

is not so much the amount I have, is that if I decide to stay 32" I will get 1080p at the price of 2060p and more screen size and no SAP so I must get items I don't use a lot in order to get what I need, I do have about, 10 BlueRay DVDs, mostly TLOR, The Hobbit, Dr. Who,  Metallica, Iron Maiden and a few others

yes, but my cable signal is HD and my old LG 1080 60Hz was just about right . . above this, nothing less than $800 and these with shipping and taxes don't even make it to $700

I cannot appreciate the full potential of my cable box or blueray dvds . . . and anything above 32 is too much I really I don't know these brands . . not available here

So, being doing some more investigating, both intewebs and locally, anything [locally], under 40" is NOT UHD, I am looking for UHD[2160p] . . . sadly, 95% of sets do come with smart tv, a feature really that I don't care for; Sharp Aquos I can get locally, but, at almost $900.00 and has inferior specs[went to website last night], Panasonic, sadly, haven't found anything that fits my "needs" and sony is a NO NO in my house[except PS2, WM2, XE90MK2], so, finally it is down to a Samsung[opon box] I saw locally yesterday, refresh rate 120Hz UHD, smart tv, local wty, for $749 . . .but still, having lots of "let me see again" with the Vizio . . .Would love to get a Panasonic set, but, for what I am looking for, they're making me go 50", no space for 50" sadly
