A few people at my buddy's club use STIs. They love them.

They certainly look like a high end product and those that own them are usually among the best shooters in the club.

I googled the company this morning. Made in Texas by a company owned by the workers. Impressive! ðŸ'ðŸ»ðŸ'ðŸ»

That was my guess but why?  As soon as you grab a hold of it the grip safety should be disengaged, correct?

Yes, but I don't like that it moves in my hand. I've been running Glocks for so long it won't be a safety issue for me.

Put a ZEV barrel and trigger in my 19 (gave the STI the day off) and ran 500 rds through it. Nice

I'm running a Zev trigger in my 19 as well, and have been pretty impressed with it.  How did you like that barrel?  Did you have to do any fitting for it, or was it truly drop in?

True drop in with mine, I also have a Wilson in my 17 and that was drop in as well.
