Does this kind of resonate with what happened between Laguna seca and motoGP
whats moepery? moepery is when you expose yourself to a blind person.

i think that was a bit different. Laguna is a zoning nightmare and just isn't equipped for big events, no affordable facilities. CotA's issues are all due to funding by the state.

I saw that thing about CoTA too... man, US tracks just seem to have issues anytime they don't involved nascar :\

Cota would be one helluva nascar track  [laugh] you'd just have to teach the drivers to make right hand turns

Oh hell yes it is. I've been to the Glen to see them. I've also seen on two separate occasions a NASCAR driver and an F1 driver switch cars on a road course. The NASCAR guys did fine, but the F1 guys couldn't handle the cars.

I'd be good with replacing F1 with IndyCar at COTA.

I haven't seen the others, but the Lewis Hamilton-Tony Stewart switch was opposite.  The track was a little damp and Hamilton was hoonin' it up drifting the corners while Stewart was tip-toeing around all scared about crashing.

^^^ Yeah he was drifting it, but it's not a drift car, i.e. He couldn't race it properly.  ;)
