Can't go on forever -- local law prohibits sleeping in a car as a residence even if it's on private property.  And I can't believe Google is OK with this -- what a bad thing to be public.  "Our employees can't afford to live near us"

If google allows it, the police will never do a thing about it. Just like walmart.

So now we have a master chef and a master chief.

What next?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I hear one of our members is going to live on a commerical fishing boat. He starts off as an apprentice baiter, and eventually he will become a master....

Well you get the idea.

Smart guy.  He'll be completely debt free in under 6 months and have a decent starter investment fund that will end up being in the multi-millions when he retires.

As a formerGoogle employee, I'm sure he gets extra positive marks on his performance reviews for being always available, day, night or weekends.

Makes you wonder if he has an additional car when he has to make an errands run.

Since he gets free food and drink (alcohol included), he is able to easily save a huge amount of money.
If I had to guess, he's in a non-customer facing role, probably an engineer, or a lower level number cruncher.

Unfortunately, since this article aired, he's probably been told to knock it off, and park his truck somewhere off campus.

Good for him for finding a way to save a huge chunk of his paycheck.
Sucks for him working for Google, I certainly don't miss it.
