Gents, I have been riding off and on for 30+ years. Stumbled upon a 2001 900 IE I just could not pass up. It was an Original Chromo model. Needs a tank and a few odds and ends but otherwise it was a steal and seems quite fun to ride around. (IT has a home made tank on it now)

Live in Scottsdale AZ. Shoot action sports photography and Ride bicycles as well. Teaching my son to ride currently and is quite the blast to ride with him.

Oh yeah, the older I get, the faster I think I was...back in the day of course..LOL

Welcome.  I just got a 2001 900ie as well.  It's been pretty good so far.  It's a little rougher than I expected below 3k RPM but otherwise it's solid. 

There's at least one slightly ding'd tank in the Parts for Sale section.

Sweet - thanks for the tip.  I didnt see any other tanks but that doesnt mean anything.  I will look again.
