Though it predates any real good records, the folklore is that Telluride comes from To Hell You Ride  [evil]

Living in that part of the world when I was young - we got to learn cool stuff in school like avalanche survival, building a snow cave, water collection (don't eat that snow!) and some other pretty cool stuff, all in public schools

Our six just eat, poop, and sleep. They need to get jobs.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Great video, brought back some great memories for me.  Thanks for posting it.  I patrolled at Big Sky from the mid '80s through the mid '90s and had time to train my German Shepherd for SAR and avalanche work.  He was an amazing dog - very smart, steady, and truly exuberant with his work.  Here's a very IZ_ shot of us on one of the lower lifts (disposable film camera - no GoPro or iPhones back then).   I miss those days but it doesn't look like things have changed all that much.

Get a robot vacuum for fur patrol.

My wife and I have one programmed to run every afternoon to clean up our shepherd's hair.

Works great!
