Just saw the local Ducati Dealer website.

Nine new models this year (one being the M1200R), but Ducati tight lipped about the other models. Bad news is the Learner approved Monster will be dropped and only a Learner approved Scrambler will be available.

Anyone know any more or got sources for info?

No I don't. But this seems in keeping with how they have been rolling the line(s) recently.

With the intro of the 400cc scrambler and the fact the 696 hasn't been a thing for a bit I'm not shocked to hear that there's no LAMS level monster at this point. Not sure that's a great idea... but the Scrambler has been selling like mad and it seems like the spork naked power wars are on. So my opinion be damned and they are probably leaving the intro bike segment to the scramblers for now and working to carve out the segment of the sport nakeds that's (seemingly) getting more competitive, to the water cooled Monsters
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Scrambler is the new Monster. Previously the Monster line was the entry level bike, now the Scrambler is. It seems appropriate that the only Learner Approved would be the entry level model.
