For the Boston knowledgable: I'm in Boston for one day from 10AM on specifically to go to a game at Fenway Park. What should we stop to see before the game at 7PM?

The Common is interesting...sometimes.

The Aquarium is cool...as is the Planetarium.

You could do a bit of the Freedom Trail...or go see 'Old Ironsides'

Or...you could see if the Combat Zone still exists...if you're in to hookers and blow...j/k

Wear a Yankees jersey for the true Fenway experience.  :-*

I would recommend against driving in Boston.

I was always a fan of the aquarium and Old Ironisdes.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Not sure if we want to devote too many hours to one place. I'll look them up though. Thx

If I were in Boston with just a couple of hours to kill, I'd visit the final resting place of a nice, freshly steamed lobster. Maybe with some appropriate side dishes...  I liked the No Name Restaurant on the pier, though I'd imagine locals could send you some place a tad less touristy.

You can get a lobster shipped overnight. Maine lobsters are better anyway, but you gotta check out some of the history/art etc. ya can't get that in the mail.  ;)

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

You need to check the schedule for the USS Constitution, the last time I was there, they were not open to the public every day...

Food in the North end.

Put on a good pair of shoes and do the freedom trail. It hits the highlights, goes thru the Northend, and goes past a bazillion bars (bahhs it is Boston after all)

We found a bar on the North End where I could see the freedom trail from my barstool.

A win win. According to our founding fathers.
