Just watched a movie on netflix called Walt before Mickey. Pretty interesting.

May 18th 1980 was when Mt St Helens erupted, I was busy on Wednesday, so I was a day late.  :'(

It was a fairly clear day when it erupted, and the ash plume was easy to see from Portland.
