I didn't know they had bought out one of the AV forums I frequent until I got a temporary password email last night...sent in plain text and including my user name. So yeah...temporary password and user name sent to me in plain text.

Makes me wonder what kind of muttonheaded twatwaffles are running that place these days. LOL

Those sites are supposed to be easy to crack according to the article. I suggest that we store our financial information on the DML and then steal that info to fund DIMBY.

They are not trying to be open with this at all. I happened in February and some passwords are being reset now? at ducati.ms they reset all the passwords but did not say why. They only said it was to raise security requirements for passwords. On the old forum they just posted a thread asking people to change it. Pretty BS for VS if I do say so myself.
I'm not the best with my password choices but at least the one I use for forums was not on my sensitive accounts. At least I think it wasn't lol.

VS sucks donkey balls.
