In the news: The Barbster & I were very pleased to have Mr & Mrs Zaster as our guests last week here on Florida's Gulf Coast. Much eating, drinking & laughing, and a day trip by ferry to Key West. They will be back this week on their way to Albuquerque.

Los 'Burquenos await your arrival Senor Nic y Senorita Barbara.   ;)

L'Scott and I are heading for the track Monday for a practice day.
My R is in the shop. DNA finally decided to fix the swingarm issue after I called Italy.
Hope she is done by next week with weather warming up.

Good to hear both that you are starting with track and also that the R is finally getting the service right! [thumbsup]

Barbara and I will be flying to ABQ the night of July 3, so we will be around for July 4 cocktails. Cannot wait to see you all. We leave the 15th.

Official: House here in NY is up for sale: http;//tinyurl.com/htkpzvn. Market here is over-supplied with homes for sale, so it may take a while to actually sell. In the meantime, we'll continue to enjoy this very pretty place.

Your tax dollars at work: DoD's Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the people who brought us the Internet & ga-zillion other things, commissioned prototypes of stealth motorcycles:

The Princess of Passion & Painand I  head your way Sunday night. Can't wait. Anything interesting going on for the 4th? Park Central? We're up for some fun. I just put a lot of medical stuff behind me, so it will be good to hang with some hooligans.

Another thing on my mind: Maybe selling the '01 Monster & getting an ST in reasonable shape & pretty even money in value. I turn 71 next week & thinking of a different riding experience. Let me know if any of you come across a likely candidate.

Not a lot of STs around, but I'll keep an eye out for ya.  Do you have a preference as to which one?  I like ST3....but I'm kinda funny that way.

Stuff.... Stuart has convinced me to keep the Monster. It was partially his verbal persuasion, but mostly the fact that, with the bike in his hands, it is running & looking better than ever. Bravissimo, Senor Baker.

Friday night, July 8: Hankering to catch some live music while I'm out here. Two choices: The Sheraton Uptown (Louisana Blvd just north of Menaul) is advertising jazz-blues starting at 6:00 PM. Probably in the lounge. The Stone Face Tavern (San Pedro north of Paseo del Norte) is featuring the Mystic Vic Blues Band start at 8:30.

Contact me if you'd like to meet up.

Nic-a-saurus:  Another awesome visit albeit a short one.  I'm so glad the Mostro was running to your satisfaction!

The missus & I (and everyone else) eagerly await when next we can enjoy each others company.  Be well until then!
