The sunshine coast hinterland is definitely one of the excellent parts of the country for motorcycling. I'm not sure it'll get up; I got to see the absolute nightmare it was 25ish years ago getting Targa Tas up and running and that was in a way less risk averse society.

Good luck to them though, would be mad fun. I suspect I'm not quite up to scratch/speed to race it but would love to.

agreed, would be great for the community!

just need to get it past all the bureaucrats and nannies first.... NT might have more luck, with expanded speed derestrictions!

Some of the residents up that part like their privacy and peace and quiet - so it might be tricky.

Not enough corners in the NT!

Do they have a slowest loop prize? I am in like Flynn if so.

I have not ridden any of the roads that direction. Scoober does I think.

The roads up there are certainly great and would make a fantastic loop but personally can't see it getting up as there a funny bunch up in them there hills! They protested against a major supermarket chain setting up shop there! Also alot of small land holdings along that route. It is a favourite of mine and if I could figure out how to link some old video footage from dropbox I would share it with you all. Would be a fast loop and oarsome to watch.  [thumbsup]
