Alright, I messed up  [bang]

Just got a great deal on a 2002 Foggy rear shock for my 2001 m750. The shock had 2000 miles on it and mine was needing to be replaced so I jump on it not thinking. Well I didnt think the shock had a reservoir on it but it does.

Anyway to make this fit or use one to rebuild the other because I don't think it fits.

is your Monster hooped? . . . I think, IIRC, that you need to mod a little the frame to fit the reservoir . . .

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

I'm sure your 01 750 has the 851 style frame, and I'm positive the 02 Foggy has the ST frame.

The shocks indeed are different.

The Foggy shock is likely shorter besides having a reservoir.

Not sure if it can be made to fit...sorry not much help..

Yes its hooped.

I guess Ill pull it soon and see if I can work it. I highly doubt it but if not I might be posting it for sale on here LOL

Foggy shock is 25mm shorter, and I strongly suspect the reservoir will foul on something.

No clue how to do it but is it possible to rebuild my current shock using the foggy shock?
