It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

But it's still a good thing I have several large bags of coffee left.

Spent time there back in 1980 on my way to Oregon. Played pool at the store. Might have been the USPS a well in them days. Camped at the Curt Gowdy State Park, ( voice of Red Sock baseball ).  He was born nearby.

Been experimenting with cold brewing my own. Using pre-ground Dunkin Donuts coffee. I have a french press I load the night before and put in the refrigerator overnight. I've been altering the time, amount of coffee, and whether it's refrigerated. So far, I've had what I think are good results. Coffee definitely tastes smoother.

I drink it hot, microwaved in the cup for about 90 seconds.

You don't 'cold brew' in the refrigerator. You brew it at room temp.

I know, but I don't like leaving my french press out on the counter overnight since the lid doesn't completely seal.

You're doing far more damage to it in the fridge. Try this, it'll seal up the gaps.
