Diameter of clip-on bars is 7/8", right?

It's a stupid question that I wouldn't ask if I had access to my bike, but the diameter of clip-on bars is 7/8", not 1", right?  I've been googling for 20 minutes and I can't find a straight answer to this question.

AFAIK with the ones I purchased, they are 7/8".
