Hey everyone, so it was time to replace my 9 year old HJC leather jacket and I decided to try out the MotoGP TT jacket, the good deals thread has a link to buy them for $99 ($108 shipped) so I said why not.  I have the MotoGP Roo 1 piece suite and it's the most comfortable suit I've owned, so I figured, for the price this jacket can't be that bad.

I got the XL, I'm 6'1 and about 215lb on a good day.  I had the opportunity to try a Large at a local store but that did not fit me at all.  The XL fits good around the arms and shoulders but feels kinda bulky around the chest area.  Protection is in the form of CE armor around elbow and shoulders and the standard run of the mill cushiony foam back protector.

It comes w/a thin vest removable vest for the cold, two big interior pockets, and two large exterior pockets and a 360 zipper set up which is the way longer zipper set up then my old HJC pants.

Now I labeled this 1/2 ass because I actually haven't gone on a ride w/it on, so I can't comment about the air flow.

So far I'm pretty happy with it, it looks good and the price was incredible.  I'll post up a ride review after this weekend.

1/2 Add Review Part 2: The Ride

Well, after todays ride I gotta say I'm really happy with the jacket.  The perforated panels provide a surprising level of ventilation....more so then my zipper vents on the old jacket.  The fit while riding is dead on, the bulkiness I felt when I first tried it on was gone and the jacket became very comfortable.

For $100 this thing can't be beat!

Nice! I may have to pick one up myself.

I purchased one of these as well.

I just got it yesterday, so I haven't ridden in it yet.

To me, it seems really stiff.  Needs broken in.  Anyone have any tips on softening this baby up?  I like Chelsea's Leather Food for most everything skin, but I am reluctant to gob up greasy stuff on this brand new piece.

Mine's silver, Large.  Sizing is good, quality is nice, PRICE IS PHENOMENAL! $117 shipped!

My only suggestion would be to wear the hell out of it.  I'm not a big fan of the leather food as it greases up the leathers and gives it the nasty Vanson leather sheen.

Broke down and got one, now I just have to convince the wife that I really "needed" another jacket ;D
