I don't respond well to being yelled at.

I told the class that I should have brought dog cookies. Then they might behave. We were talking about lock out tag out and an incident here locally a couple of years ago where a 19 year old kid died in a mulcher auger. 2 students were looking at one cell phone and talking -  looking for the closest Ivar's fish place. Wait till break!

These were all adults who work for the county.

I'd just ask them if they understood the phrase...

Although some of the shit I had to yell at me crew for was mind boggling. They brought me on the the last gig when they had two separate guys each lose a finger.
