Good luck with fate Randy.

Went wine tasting with the neighbor tonight. Then we grilled steak.

Now home finishing up an open bottle [wine]

Overcast & rainy here in paradise.

Thankfully.

I've been at home for 7 straight days, with 3 more coming.   :o :o

A trip to TX next week, which may determine my short term fate.

Life is a merry-go-round.
Actually...life is a carnival. It's in the book.

How's the water holding up?
2 days straight . . .

now some intelligent donkey has proposed that we replace the pvc 4" main feeders to metal and then replace the 1" also with metal . . . for some weird reason I had a quotation from a few days ago that a shop asked me to perform since they want to replace the whole shop/working bays air/water distribution[all galvanised steel so must be taken down] and I told them that if we have in the maintenance bank account about $30K we can do it . . . it seems that the engineer/architect that desing this joint, for some weird reason used a 4"-1" system . . . . 4" run alonside the sidewalks feeding the 1" that feed the houses so we have aprox 3kms[2mls] of "mains" this donkey plans on replacing with metal and the gov here has banned the use of iron water piping . . .so, we could only potentially use SS and the quoted $30K is only for the cost of the 4"and 1" not counting the couplings and thread cutting . . . I am doing some investigating about installing an underground or above ground water reserve tank . . . for 2 days we[missus, dogs and me] need 100gls aprox between cooking/showering/flushing/drinking water so, was thinking a 6000liter tank, that could last up to 15~20 days if we were very very conservative

Galvanized pipe is bad.

You can get by with far less than 100 gals/day if you have to. We waste a lot of water.

yes, on both cases . . . I can "shower" with about 5gls if I forego my medicated face wash treatment for psoriasis that is a 3 step thing . . . each flush is about 1.5gl and to cook pasta I need about 1gl in the pot . . . meat and other stuff, I have a grill and a smoker/grill and usually stock on paper plates and plastic forks/spoons . . . 100gls would be short if stepson is at home

Watch it snow.
I'd have to come over your place to do that.
The Mustang will be a good choice right?

Might get hung up in the ruts in the driveway, but otherwise...

what could go wrong? :P

It's a good day to stay put if you're here. Let the road crews do their thing, and it will be a distant memory in a month.

ground clearance even in stock form seems like it would be problematic especially at the front splitter. Might plow pretty good.
