He was running the same pace as Pedrosa at the end. I am now convinced his issue is more with his fitness. We know the Duc requires a lot more effort than the Yamaha. Jorghey obviously had enough tire to mount a comeback.

I think he might have figured it out. He was backing the thing into the corners at the end of the race too.

Definitely not George's old style.

Yeah I hope the win bonus is good, Dovi has a family to look after.
JL did well to start getting a feel for riding the Duc hard. 4th ain't bad, but I think podiums are now expected. Was it that the tyres of his competitors degraded to give him a level playing field, or that he found a way to speak Ducati? Maybe he isn't strong enough to muscle the bike and needed a break (unlikely)? Maybe he felt muscling the bike would cause crashes, but he now realises that you gotta grab that bike by the scruff of the neck? Or is it all in his head and he has a new mindset with the bike, (forget smooth and get aggro)?
I feel Ducati should chase MM with big bucks because he could ride it imo. I think a Ducati seconds team should grab Jack too.
