Not as exciting as a can or FotzeJager's shootouts...

I picked up a (nother) Ruger Mark 2 target in a pawn shop in south Virginia.  nearly perfect condition, very low round count.  I'm going to have this one cut for a can.  I bought up all that 60gr subsonic.. I should use it...



He also had a Whitworth mauser in 243 -- it's a CZ action with a Mannlicher stock.  They only wanted $225 for it, and I'm kicking myself for not getting it.  They were imported by Interarms in the 80s-90s and this one was beautiful.  If it had been in .308, I would have gotten it without thinking, but even in 243, it's a good gun... It was $225 and I hesitated..  argh.  95% of these that you find have a standard sporter/American hunter stock.  The Mannlicher versions are hard to find.

Teaching again Saturday, so I'm on the gun hard every day this week. Since I'm not teaching during these sessions, I can cover a lot of ground in a two hour window. You gotta put the work in to get better.

Yes, and IPSC etc.

I saw kopf' wink right there! Enough said I guess! Lol!

IDPA looks very interesting, nothing like that here, as very few, only law enforcement or special security officers can conceal and carry.

IPSC is the go mostly.
