I'm planning on the next car being mostly electric.

I also need to get solar installed.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Too rich for my blood.

Mostly because I could probably build one way uglier but cheaper.

The Volt is on my list of things to check out.

I average about 20 miles a day driving, tops.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Another one would be that I would build an SUV that truly produced zero emissions.  :D

I like it. I just don't want to wait 3 years to get one. I picked up an Audi A3 Etron in May. Does about 20 miles on battery then goes to the turbo charged 4 banger. Tripled my mileage, carpool lane solo access stickers, and 6K in rebates. So far so good. If the Q5 ish model ever comes out I will go that route. Supposedly 300 mile plus range.

The plug-in hybrids these days supposedly provide close to 100mpg.
