I see yellow monster but no Dan... ???

Also, what is in your beard there, ML?  Tie clips?  That some new fashion trend?

I guess they're barrettes. My issue is that without them my beard basically sand blasts my neck.

So I use two of them to keep things under control ;D

Your traffic cops sound pretty awesome all up!

Many Aussies have mentioned how fair and polite they are.

Luck of the draw.  Another day, another locality no registration could have you walking home and your bike tossed not too gently.

I'm going to answer Herm's PM here so I don't have to do it twice.  Didn't make it home safely so the bike isn't so nice anymore.

Almost home car in front of me pulls way to the left.  Seems to be parking.  As I pass slowly, no signal, no warning, he decides to make a right turn.  I tried to turn with him as it was my only option.  Knocked over hard.  Bike not so good.  Me neither.  Broken ankle, knee swollen and abraded, but OK.  Something pulled badly in my groin Thank you leather and armor.  Car stayed around and supposedly called 911.  Turn my back for a second, they are gone.  So, here I am cast on leg, extreme groin pain and a messed up bike.

I called my wife, she called my neighbor Hector.  He took the bike and me home in his van and convinced me I needed to go to the ER by ambulance.  My other neighbor who is an RN came with us.  Her husband came and fetched us in the wee hours of the morning.  A BIG thank you to good neighbors!

Oh, a big thank you to the excellent EMTs, the two police and all at the hospital.

Oh man Howie!!!

So sorry to hear this. Hope you mend quickly!
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

Holy cow, that's terrible :(

So glad you're, mostly, ok.  The bike can be repaired or replaced at least.

Heal up.

Sorry to hear this bad news Howie.
Heal up brother.
I guess insurance payout will support a build project or replacement? I found a focus like that helps during recovery.

Thanks all.  The bike will live, not much of a project except getting it back the way it was.  I was happy.  One of the EMTs sai you are going to ride again aren't you.  Smart young lady The wife accepts fact too.  My regular Doctor?   I haven't seen him yet, but  [bang]

Heal up Howie  :o Glad you were not hurt more.

Heal up, Howie.  Glad you are (relatively) okay.  [thumbsup]

Tell the doc that it would be like never loving or having sex again because someone broke your heart.
I'd get another doc if he gives you shit.

Last time I told him someone who goes down snowy mountains quickly on two sticks shouldn't talk.

Cindy and I just got home and finished unloading.

Thanks Mr & Mrs Painter for having us all over again. I love being able to hang out with my internet brothers and sisters.

You all are just imaginary the other 362 days in the year ;D

Lots of Dimby firsts this year.

The beans put out the fire out.

All the riders got performance warnings, except Herm, who got that AND a bonus award.

First crashed rider during the Dimby commute. Howie, I'm really glad this wasn't worse.

Alfisti tried to split a VW in half with his truck on the way up. If that's not a solid demonstration of eagerness to Dimby it up I don't know what is.

I got a bad urge to get back on a monster.

Like I said, lots of firsts. Great seeing you all [beer]
