I watched it...they had messages on his dash, and messages on his pitboard.

Big drama. Great job by Dani passing the frog on the last lap. Dovi didn’t have anything for Jorge. If he could have shown him a wheel, he might have let him by. I believe it’s called racing. No idea once again how MM saved that bike. Hilarious when he rolled a 6 with that big die.

George was holding Dovi up bro. He was all over his rear wheel, but if Dovi barged through and crashed his title hopes were done.

Marky couldnt help himself . That was a forearm and shoulder save, then Marky kept on it in the sand (you could hear the revs on the TV). There were quite a few crashes as front tyres let go (possibly from the heat).
The pit board was very clear and Dovi pushed Jorge early but got gapped later possibly as the front tyre degraded. Jorge's opportunity to be a good team mate was earlier when Dovi was on his tail and trying to establish his rhythm.

To be a fly on the wall at the Ducati team debriefing..

  Its all over now.  Next year is right around the corner.

I remember, very well, the roar from the crowd at WDW (2012 I assume) when Bayliss entered the stage - followed by the relative roaring silence when Rossi entered. I wouldn't want to be Jorge on that stage next summer.

I did not see anything but smiles and congratulations in the Ducati garage after the race. They even applauded after Dovi crashed out.

You are right. Being the decent human being he is, Dovi set the record straight. In an interview, Dovi said that Jorge was giving him a tow as Jorge likes the place and it's not one of Dovis best tracks.
