I have hardly any snow in Meadville, 40 miles south of Erie.

However, my shop in Girard is 15 miles west of Erie and has been just pounded with snow. 60"+ in the last two days with another 12-24" possible by this time tomorrow night.

Many businesses are shut down because people are unable to leave their neighborhoods to go to work. I was down two guys today and a third left early just in case.  

I've lived here most all my life so I'm used to snow. I haven't ever seen it dump like this before.

This is the first year I wish I had a snowmobile.

Seems wrong to spend what those cost and only get a few weeks a year to ride it.

I don't disagree. Both boats, and motorcycles are much better buys, and even those are limited in season.

Hahaha..... I work with some guys who start talking about their sleds in August. Every two years, someone needs a brand new one. Skidoo vs. Artic Cat vs. whatever..... Worse than the chevy vs. ford thing..

Seems like they only get up north to ride once or twice a year.
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

It's a balmy -4 F here right now with -23 windchills. It might make it to 0.

All bets are off until Lake Erie is frozen over. I’m northeast of Youngstown and we only got a few inches. Our plow crews are all hands on deck up in Ashtabula county since they keep getting pounded with lake effect.

Stay safe up there...hopefully you have a snowblower.
