Illinois River??  You must be in North Central IL, so here's how it's going to go.  Sit down (gotta get off that swollen foot right??), grab as many beers as you think you're gonna need, and crank the AC and hole up for a couple of days because it's got to be just as hot there as in Central MO.  I think it's supposed to be 102 today.  I'm sure some of these guys down south have us beat, but hey, they didn't have your month.  Keep your spirits up.

small sample of how my life worked for a while..

Got a bonus at work, about $2500, and a week later had termites swarming in my laundry room.  good bye bonus.

Wife and I scraped and saved to get a new high efficiency washer/dryer (whirpool duet) and 2 days after it was delivered our refrigerator stopped cooling.  I had the delivery guys at my house exactly 7 days apart.

I had a minor low side back in september that sent my bike to the shop and me the ER one friday night.  The sunday following I was at Disney California Adventure and my little one tripped, hit her head on a metal bulkhead, and split her forehead open, gushing blood all over.

Doctor said I needed more exercise besides hockey once a week, so I started playing soccer with the company team.  Third game of the season i took a bad fall and tore my ACL and medial meniscus.

Those are just 4 examples.  I could go on.  But hey, sounds like you took over for me
