I recently replaced my stock bars with clipons, and in the process of filing the peg on the back of the throttle assembly off I cracked the bracket. Regretfully the dealer is telling me that I would need to purchase the entire assembly, at a cost of $95 + shipping.  :o

Now I find out that the earliest I will probably get one is mid-September, since Ducati Italy is closed for the entire month of August. I really don't want to be without my bike for the next 6 weeks.  :-[

Here's a link to my post in Parts Wanted: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=8275.0

Any ideas on where I can get a replacement? I'd prefer to buy one used, but I'll pay full price if I have to. I just can't stand the thought of not riding for that long.   :'(

You could try calling Ducati Seattle (board sponser) and BCM since they both carry a large inventory of parts.
