I read somewhere that they’ve put more restrictions this year as to where you can sit. I’m guessing that dudes been sitting or standing in that particular spot before. (?) Maybe he can hear the races from his accommodations.  :D

“The practice session â€" for Superbike/Superstock/Supersport machinery â€" was red flagged after 10 minutes. First reports were of a tree being set on fire at the Churchtown area, which required the fire brigade to enter the circuit.

Following this, another occurred involving a course car that was attending the initial incident on track. Ballacrye is at mile 17 on the TT's mountain course, with Churchtown a few miles down the track towards Ramsey.”

Large fires have previously occurred due to crashes. Probably a tank rupture.

Sad news. The Isle is unforgiving.
Hope the other injured rider pulls through, he was airlifted out. He may have missed the flag and hit or got baulked by the course car attending to Kneen.

On that note in this guys footage (not the wrecks) you can hear when the red flag came out and several dudes are still getting after it pretty hard. Not sure the flag situation there, but I’m sure they have that place pretty well covered. (?)
