I am retired and living on the Northern California coast. After driving the winding roads for years I finally bought a bike so these ideal roads can be properly enjoyed. At first I thought a Suzuki SV650 would be a good choice, but missed out on a local one for sale. Studied craigslist for a month. Turned down a very interesting Honda cx500 cafe racer. Then, there is the answer - a very well maintained Ducati! The choice especially makes sense as the closest mechanic turns out to be a master Ducati specialist: Zen House in Point Arena. After two decades of no riding my skills are rusty, but it all is coming back.
Its great to get back into riding, and what a fun bike.
