Glad to hear you are okay!!  Picked up my second nail of the summer on 183 yesterday - it is the most "no holds barred-no rules apply-3rd world highway" I have ever travelled.

So, a few weeks back, I was sitting at a stoplight on the 75 south service road....I could feel the heat and vibration (and rattling) closing in on me like a fighter jet.  This friendly fella - who I only could assume was the ICE Man, reaches over and says, "Hi I'm Patrick, nice bike."  It was too early in the morning to conclude this was a flirtatious gesture....and I realized there was only ONE copy of the Black XEROX (how's that for irony?)

...so I smacked said gentleman on the helmet and replied, "It's IZ_, you goofball" and continued my commute along the highway thru hell to the mid-cities...

all I saw was a IZ_ chipmonk on a 1098...  hard to recognize you with your cheeks pushed up against your nose in the helmet...  however, I'm always grateful for a smack in the head to get me on the right track ;)

going to finally start my thread I've been meaning to start...  the "things I have almost run into on 183..." thread...  sadly the knock to the head won't count since the thread is for things I ALMOST hit...
