friend has a 2018 Monster 821 and would like to replace the seat. I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out when the generation changed and what year seats actually fit.  On the old monsters it was the same from 93 to 2006 IIRC.

Changed for 2018 on the m821...2015-2017 old style

Thanks for the response, I can't recall where, but I found on one website it said 821 changed in 2017....

I was just looking at part numbers for the seat over the years ..2017 was the same as 2015...I think the R model came out in 2017 and that was the new style seat

Thank you, it seems crazy from a bean counter standpoint why they are changing parts so rapidly.

1993-2000 same.
2001-2008 redesign.
2009-2013 again, redesign.
2014-? Yup...
