They're probably writing a 1 year deal as we opine. ;D

They mentioned 4 riders who might possibly replace George. Three are no brainers...Crutchlow, Nakagami, and Zarco. The fourth...?

I see that as a colossal strategic error, but I put nothing past Puig in that department.

I think it’s a negotiation tactic to bring in AM. HRC wants to retain MM forever, learning their mistake from losing Rossi. Putting MM and AM on the same team basically provides HRC another bargaining chip. To me it makes perfect sense.

Contracts can be purchased. If Honda wants him they'll do what it takes.
