Ducati will not cover any short fall. If Dorna are the driving force behind keeping Zarco in MotoGP, then Ducati will simply ask them to cover the difference if Zarco is unable to bring his own sponsor. Having someone competitive on the Avintia is not incentive enough to throw away Daddy Abraham money, if not he would have been gone a long time ago.

He said he had a contract, which as we all know, doesn’t mean shit. If they want you out, you’re out. Karel was always a back market. I’m sure that it was a running joke that he was still in MotoGP because of his dad, similar to Rabat since they bring their own $$$

Zarco must be hurting to not test...or he's going to Yammi to be a test rider.

They likely can’t have someone on the bike without a contract. Even the one off guys get a one race contract to keep it legal. If Zarco’s team is still negotiating, then likely we will not see him testing until Sepang

I would absolutely think so, but what do we actually know about the heroes from 20-30-40 years ago? Do they or commentators mention pain?
