wow, thanks guys. these are pretty pricey, and i do only want them in black. it seems like the oberons are my only option here which would set me back around $150 for front and rear. il look around and make a decision soon. thanks again for the info guys. - ben

Ditto, I would like some that don't fold back.  Has anyone done this with the stock rearsets?

Did either of you guys find some pegs that bolt straight though?

just get the competition works and have them powder coated.  That's what I have on my list.  That'd be $100 for both sets and I doubt the PC would cost much.

CW pegs come in black, www.monsterparts.com has them.  Excellent place btw, very helpful.

CW pegs are amazing just remember to keep your legs out a bit more to keep from stabbing your calves

so i ordered the CW pegs. triple checked to make sure they were the right fit for my 01 monster 900. they arrived and i was told that the st4 and monster use the same pegs. says so on the box as well. anyway, neither the front or the rear fit. what the hell?! this has turned into the neverending search for black footpegs at this point.
