What would be the expected mileage of a set of front brake rotors? And the rear one come to think of it!

Assuming normal road uses.

It’s just I’ve never seen them need replacing due wear! I seen damaged ones and warped ones but never seen them less than the minimum thickness!

The rear will probably last you forever...the fronts depend on how you ride...type of pads etc...my Brembo 320mm disc has gone from 4.5mm to 4.2mm in roughly 35k miles on an m821 with pads being replaced every 7-9k miles

Pretty much the same here with HH pads.  Of course, this assumes you are talking about the OEM stainless.

Depends on local regulations.
In areas where there's no vehicle inspection, things can get pretty worn.

It depends a lot on the rider too.
Some folks don't use the rear brake at all, so quite a long time for them.

Had a single front Snowflake on my M750.
Got through it in 24k miles, well over half of which was rolling freeway so not much braking going on.
I'd say 20k more accurate for normal riding.
So 40k if I'm rolling dual front discs.

I've seen lots of fronts and rears worn under spec.
I'd say half those rears got through to the metal on a set of pads at some point, and that thins them down quickly.

2007 with 17,000 miles here. Still on original front pads with plenty of meat on them. Discs are like new!  
I did put rear pads in a few years ago, due to sticking caliper.

The rotors on my 2000 M900 were worn beyond spec after 40,000 miles.  That was with a lot of city riding.  Feels like I should be doing more road trips.

I wouldn’t know, can’t get past 7k without tearing into the bike
My beemer gets new ones every 20k, much heavier bike though

im on 40K on my rears and 35K on my fronts. My front looks smooth and clean. My rears on the other hand have seen better days. Its my commuter bike in NYC so it sees a lot of crud and shit on it. Theres visible grooves on my rears....
