Yes, you're right, that Joe's is closed.  something about the building falling apart because the retaining wall it was built on is slipping into the reservoir next to it.  Hey, sounds like a Louisiana bayou to me!

My ability to attend is "iffy", however may I suggest a couple of fishy alternates in the vicinity:

- Razoos (one on Bryant Irvin or one in downtown Fort Worth)
- Flying Fish - off I-30 and Bryant Irvin, just about 1 or 2 miles west of downtown Fort Worth.

I vote no fish since I'll be eating it Friday.  Oh......wait.....you all are suppose to decide, carry on.

Great idea Jim!  Marc and I vote Flying Fish, but like everyone else, we are open to whateva!

There is also  IZ_'s Taco.  The newest one is on Race St. right off of 121.  It's still fish though!  Nice patio and possibly pet friendly...maybe I could finally see the Puggle Pod!

and more importantly, why do they not like more evolved animals?  i thought the fort worth crowd would be all about steaks or burritos.  or both.

Sea creatures are made of meat, so you're supposed to eat them.  Don't get so weirded out by their insect-like exoskeleton.  Nothing a spicy crab boil won't fix.
