The power compelled me...don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Ducatis. But I rode the Panigale 120 miles a couple of Thursdays ago and decided that it is DEFINITELY not the best bike for adventure jaunts.  [thumbsdown]

So I picked up this fine Austrian dame last Saturday...




2020 690 SMC-R with 373 miles on the odometer.  [drool]

Well, that didn't take very long.
Just picked Helsa back up from the dealer after getting some warranty work done...the right fork tube upper somehow developed a vertical hairline crack about an inch long right at the bushing step and was leaking out fork oil. Initially thought it was a dirty/weepy seal...but then I haven't been know to create easy repair jobs (breaking the flywheel side crank snout off on the Multistrada...grenading a dry clutch conversion on the Panigale...).

But she's all back together and the break-in service has been completed and we are back and creating havoc.

That's a hot looking bike, man.  It may not look like it compared to the Pani, but it will definitely end up being the devil on your shoulder [evil]
