Crashnet said he "could" switch to Yamaha next year. I don't know why he would do that with the Ducati being such a superior bike over the last few seasons.

I'm not sure we know all there is to know about his relationship with Yamaha. Many SBK stars have tried, but failed in GP. Maybe better to be almost on top in WSBK. I could see the logic in moving to a Duc, but BMW....  Again, maybe smarter (a little cowardly?) to choose a bike that he can blame for not winning. That can earn him another couple of years in WSBK.

Well...I can understand not wanting to make the jump to GP. It doesn't often work. 

No one has anything for Alvaro and the Duc. If it was about winning he could have just waited until Alvaro retired and started winning again on the Yamaha. Isn't Alvaro supposedly retiring after next year?
