If you can wait 'til spring (Daytona?), some guy is going to introduce a 1200cc, 100 ft/lbs monster motor. Expensive.

I'm pretty sure someone did a 1080.

Might have been Bruce Meyers.

Ducshop has a big bore kit for 1000 motor.   I'm sure Bruce, BCM, Sea Duc, Motocorsa could do one for you.

Bruce is doing a 1080 996 4v motor right now.   ;)

There was a guy here who did the 1080 kit.
for an 1100, all youd really need to do is swap the piston and heads i think. Or you can just get a stock 1100 engine. there arent too many of those though

the engine should fit fine the heads are the same size. different bore, same stroke. Suspension and swingarm is the only thing you need to worry about.

Not to my knowledge on both questions.

why wouldnt it? the swingarm mounts to the engine and if your moving an HM1100 motor, then the HM swingarm has to fit. The only question is the shock.

i read somewhere that the heads are identical between the 1000 and 1100, same part#.  i wonder if you could just do pistons, jugs, figure out the fueling and call it a day?
