lol  Ok, you got me there.  Guilty as charged.

But anyhow, good ride none the less with the small exception of the end.  I am still impressed and how well, and quickly, Mike moves that Sport1000 around.  That dude is SUPER fast!!

depends on if I'm swinging by the tattoo shop tomorrow. I'll find out tonight, I guess

I don't know yet. I crashed on the Pegoretti this afternoon. Hit a hole at about 20 mph and lost the front end. Amazingly the bike is OK. I've got a little road rash and some bruises. The helmet took three knocks but looks pretty good considering. We're having a dinner tonight with some friends from California so that means I'll have to do chores in the AM. We'll see. I'm getting stiff. Ouch.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Dude, sorry to hear that!!  But very glad to hear that the peg is ok.  That would be pricey to have to do serious repair work to the frame if the head-tube got tweaked.  Time to replace that helmet though.  Those things are designed for one knock and one knock only.  Don't know what brand you have, but I know Giro used to have a crash replacement policy that would allow you replace a lid for a fraction of the full price.

My ride wasn't anywhere near as eventful as yours.  Didn't feel like getting the rack on the golf, so ended up spending about an hour on the trainer.

Pretty much every major manufacturer offers about 20% off on a crash replacement lid.

I would rather ride the cat than a trainer.  ugh.   :P

Oh, right, ride.  Umm, I can probably squeeze in an early brekky run, but it will end up being kinda quick, I imagine.

I can do a brekkie run... assuming I'm awake...

Well, I was watching the final stage of this year's tour if that helps.  ;)

Not sure if I am down with breakfast or not.  Just dropped Alex off at work and I'll be damned if last night's dinner isn't trying to stage revolt.

Where and when do you think you guys will meet up?  And if so, are you going to the N. Shore area?  I might be interested in the coffee gallery.

eltristo

If'n the roads are dry enough, that could work for me.

From my window, looks like it is rainy towards your side of the rock.  :(

I'm moving pretty slow right now. The left hip is swollen but it only hurts if I stand up or sit down or walk. Other than that I'm good. No breakfast run for me, I'm out the door for laundry and food right now. If I make the 8:30 at Starbucks I'll be late but then those guys hang for quite a while anyway.

Oh, no more parking lot at the top of Norfolk. It's been torn up and a long curb has been put in. WTF?

Hey Mac, let me know if you want to do a later run.  I'm a bit down for the count atm, but might want to go out later.

And how did you go about letting them take out our parking lot?

That does rather suck.  I guess we can still just hang out by the curb.  boo.
