Decided to get the heck out of the dust pit of the southwest and took my 1098 up to Ouray and Telluride this weekend.  They had MASSIVE storms but it did clear up a bit for some fun knee droppin on the Million Dollar Highway (Red Mountain pass) between Silverton and Ouray.

Here are some pics:

What, you mean a superbike isn't designed for mud?

Now THIS is a toy!

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

Looks like a great place to ride minus the mud.

I agree with the mud but regular trails aren't that bad

Really cool pictures.  I'd love to make it out there with my bike sometime.

Beautiful area. I haven't been out there in years but what I remember most is LOT'S of traffic, double yellow line passing, and the occasianal radar trap. Did you got to  Silverton as well?

Telluride is amazing!
Geographically my favorite place in Colorado.

Yep did Silverton too.

Traffic was surprising light, but you will always have double yellow passing in Colorado...too many twisties not to
